The Beauty Trends you can expect to see in 2024

Stay ahead of the game with our sneak peek into the hair and beauty trends you can expect to see in 2024.

Every year, London, New York, Paris and Milan are a hive of activity as top designers, celebrities and fashionistas come together to explore the latest trends for the coming seasons.

Within days, high street brands get to work on replicating these ideas into more mainstream, wearable fashion.

So what should you be looking out for to make sure you’re on trend in the coming months?

We’re going back to the 90’s in 2024, something we’ve started to see this year and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Expect to see the middle parting making a comeback when it comes to hairstyling. Sharp, clean lines and blunt ends will be popular alongside sleek, glass like hair as seen at LaQuan Smith, Christian Siriano  and Badgley Mischka.

Dig out your ribbons as the balletcore trend encourages accessories to dress up your look. Braids, buns, netting and ribbons will become less of a ballet dancers look and more strong woman look instead.

To complement the balletcore style soft pinks and white will be the go to shades for manicures. Add a touch of iridescent or chrome to continue the ‘glazed donut’ nail look that was made popular by Hailey Bieber this year.

However, in contrast to 2023’s Barbie pink craze, 2024 will see the resurgence of red polish on short nails. Couple this with a strong, red lip and you’ll definitely have the 2024 look nailed.

In other make up trends, 2024 will see playful eyeshadow with mermaid tones and bold, colourful eyeliner. If that’s not your thing then perhaps the 90’s latte make up of nude eyeshadow tones paired with a brown, glossy lip will be a more wearable style.

Finally, 2024 will focus on the fresh faced, clear skin look. Recently sported by celebrities such as Pamela Anderson and Rihanna, results driven skincare is the key to looking your best whilst wearing minimal to no make up. A dewy glow is the goal for your complexion in 2024.
